What is the EABA LCA Task Force?
Launched in February 2024, the EABA LCA Task Force is a cross-disciplinary initiative uniting academic and industry experts to tackle the practical and methodological challenges of applying LCA to algae-based products.
Our mission is to bridge knowledge gaps by delivering:
- Clear, actionable guidance for LCA practitioners - addressing challenges like multifunctionality, data quality, and scaling.
- Accessible insights for algae entrepreneurs, researchers, and policymakers, enabling them to interpret LCA results and make informed, sustainability-driven decisions.
